Al Khater leads Al-Adham's participation in the World Cycling Road Championships - Switzerland
The World Cycling Road Championships will kick off on September 22nd in the Swiss city of Zurich, which will witness strong Qatari participation in this edition, as our Qatari cycling team will participate in the individual overall and individual time trial competitions, where Fadl Al Khater will represent the team in the road race and the individual time trial, while cyclists Tamim Al Kuwari and Saeed Al Mohannadi will participate in the individual time trial.
It is worth noting that this participation is the first of its kind, as Qatari player Fadl Al Khater will be able to participate in the road race for the first time. This participation is a new milestone in the journey of Qatari cycling on the global stage. This participation reflects the growth and influence of Qatari cycling in international forums, which enhances Qatar's position as a country seeking to achieve excellence in global sports.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed bin Jaham Al Kuwari, President of the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation, expressed his happiness with the arrival of Qatari cyclist Fadl Al Khater to the World Road Cycling Championships, alongside the participation of his national team colleagues, cyclist Tamim Al Kuwari and Saeed Al Mohannadi, players of our national team in individual time trial races, which is a great achievement that demonstrates the development of Qatari cyclists. This participation also came after the great development in the level of national players and several championships and tours, the most recent of which was participation in the Salalah International Tour at the beginning of this month. The World Cycling Championship also witnesses global participation from the most prominent cyclists in the world, which contributes to raising the level of our players and gaining global experience.
